In the records

Isett isn’t named in the pamphlet - it only says that Thomas Stone, one of the murderers, was apprehended at his wedding celebrations the day after the murder.
Discovered during an archive workshop at The Box with archivist Victoria Northwood — her name appears in the marriages column for 1591, marrying Thomas Stone. Within days, Thomas was executed, leaving Isett a widow. She reappears on 1 June 1595, marrying Edward Baker. Recorded in the St Andrew Parish Register, Plymouth (marriages), held at The Box.
